Don't forget to include Serra de Collserola Natural Park in your Barcelona day tour.
Serra de Collserola Natural Park is situated near Torre del Collserola TV-tower, not far from Mount Tibidabo. Huge and beautiful, full of fresh mountain air, it has an area of 8,000 hectares (about 19,768 acres). It is the world's biggest city park, eight times bigger than Bois de Boulogne in Paris and 22 times larger than New-York Central Park. It will take you only 20 minutes to get to Serra de Collserola Natural Park from Barcelona and see wild boars, badgers, weasels, eagles, hawks, salamanders, and snakes.
You can walk or cycle along the paths of the park, watch the ruins of ancient castles and drink Sangria in cozy farm restaurants. Twice a month (except August) they have Astronomic Nights during which tourists have an opportunity to watch stars and planets through the real telescope.
Address: Carretera de Vallvidrera-Sant Cugat, Barcelona, Spain.
